I have completed a Change Control solution that has been working well now for a few months. I have been asked to add the ability to add reoccurring changes. Are there any examples that would help me make that happen?
what are conditions for task to recurring? is it time based (schedule-able) or should it trigger on some event?
should whole workflow restart or just single or multiple steps?
A "task" in this case would be a new list item in the same list. So ideally a user would click a check box for reoccurring, then select daily/weekly/monthly etc., and set a date range. Then there would be a new item created for each iteration which on creation would start the workflow for each new item respectfully.
have you thought of using calendar list?
it provides such functionality OOTB....
What if it triggers some event or condition?
Do I need to create a site workflow?
