We are using an approval process workflow, and after the first person reviewed and approved the document, it was sent to the second user. Once that user received notification to review it, the initiator received notification that an error had occurred. I have been able to resend the link to the second person in the workflow, but the options for approving or rejecting are greyed out, and that person cannot complete her portion of the workflow. This should not be a permissions issue as this workflow has been running for two years with the same people involved. The exact error message is:
"Error in task. <nativehr>0x80070005</nativehr><nativestack></nativestack>".
do you have access to the ULS Logs? As you can see this error message doesn't provide us much information.
Although the workflow maybe running for two years, did you make sure permissions are still configured correctly? If your workflow doesn't run as workflow owner, e. g. the initiator would need to have at least contribute rights on your task list.
Below is the log: It continues to error across all items in the workflow, but I am showing the first "InitiatorsDisplayname". The other errors all read the same and have the same attached ID. We did have some trouble with the server earlier in the day, but it was resolved several hours before this error occurred (the workflow was already in motion and then the server went down for a bit). We did confirm the permissions were correct, and the workflow has not cancelled out since.

Do you have other workflows in your environment that are running smoothly? Looks more like a general configuration problem with your farm than a simple error in your workflow. Maybe your server problems couldn't get resolved completely. I would try to get in touch with the admins and/or contact nintex support.
Hi Guys, do you have a workaround for this?
I'm having the same error, the workflows are running well most of times, but sometimes there are crashing with then next ULS message (after asigning a flexi-task action):
00000 Unexpected Error in
MultiOutcomeTaskAndEscalation.: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is
denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
2Bs=.zBw=.0Rw=(NWContextDataCollection 0hw=, Approver 0xw=, NWWorkflowContext
1Bw=, ContextDataOptions 1Rw=, Boolean 1hw=)
Any help would be appreciated.
