Why wont my columns link?

Hello,

Newly appointed SharePoint guy for my organization here.  I have a very simple question that I am hoping someone can help me with. 

I am creating a travel workflow.  In my secondary approver Nintex form I created several columns in my list settings that were text boxes.  These will be used for travel coordnators to enter bulk information.  On my final approval Nintex Form I can select the column just fine however it does not link.  It appears, in my preview, as a free txt field rather than carrying over the bulk information. 

How do I fix this?  The goals is the bulk information to come to the final approval form.

Hi,
For the control that is having the issue:
In the control settings > Apperance > set Enabled to "No"
In the control settings > Advanced > set Control Mode to "Display"

Does that resolve the issue?

Thank you for replying.  It looks like it might?!  I have to do testing today.  I will certainly let you know.
