Getting error when installing smartforms "No valid claims issuers found. Ensure that K2 Workspace 4.6.7 or higher is installed in the k2 environment"
Diagnoses
Error message says "No valid claims issuers found. Ensure that K2 Workspace 4.6.7 or higher is installed in the k2 environment" but k2 workspace is already installed on the server where smartforms is being installed.
Resolution
The IIS service was not working normally. The claim realms are driven by the sites created by the installer.
We identified that the K2 Web sites were not being created during the initial install of the software. The customer rebuilt the VM and re-ran the installer and was able to get the K2 web site with its applications installed.
