Using 'And' rule to hide panel

Jump to solution

Afternoon all,

I need some help. I am trying to unhide a panel when a certain selection has been made from a list lookup control AND a certain selection has been made from a choice control.

The list look up name is 'PrimaryContactReason' and the selection i require to be made for the rule is "Product Advice" (2nd in the list option).

The choice name is 'OnlineAttempt' and the selection i require to be made for this is "Yes".

I have tried using:

and(OnlineAttempt !='Yes',PrimaryContactReason !='2;#Product Advice')

and variations to this however the rule acts on the list look up selection without waiting to see what the other selection was made in the choice control.

You help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try using PrimaryContactReason contains ('Product Advice')

The following will work as I tested it in my environemnt based on the description of your setup.

not(and(equals(OnlineAttempt,"Yes"),equals(parseLookup(PrimaryContactReason,true),"Product Advice")))

My sample form attached.  Just reconfigure the Lookup to point to your lookup list if you would like to test.
