Symptoms
When trying to start the K2 Server in console mode the following error was logged in correspondence with a failure to start the K2 server:
ERROR 7030 Unable to create '[SERVER]EventBus' queue : A workgroup installation computer does not support this operation.
ERROR 7030 Unable to create '[SERVER]EventBus Error' queue : A workgroup installation computer does not support this operation.
ERROR 7026 Unable to load EventBus Server
The two unable to create errors occur after K2 tried to build the EventBus(Error) queue
Diagnoses
The MSMQ had been installed as a workgroup and not on the domain controller which is preferable.
Resolution
Two options
1) Uninstall MSMQ and reinstall with a Domain Admin account
2) Create private message queues (http://help.k2.com/kb000198)
