Symptoms
Smartforms Client events do not open after upgrading client tools to 4.6.10 as described in http://help.k2.com/kb001382_, the fixes mentioned did not resolve the issue.
Diagnoses
The KB article mentions that this may be due to a mismatch in K2 components, namley that smartforms was not reconfigured/updated after the blackpearl components were upgraded.
Resolution
Verify installed components are matching versions. Any version mismatches will have to be rectified. Once this is done, the following steps can be taken to resolve the issue:
1. Re-open the project, right click on the kprx and select "update design templates" (this will remove any edits you made to the kprx xml.)
2. Re-open the KPRX in xml editor and reapply the nodes per article http://help.k2.com/kb001382_
