How to restart a workflow after upgrade

Badge +1

Hi All,

I have just upgraded to V3.1.4.11 from V3.1.4.0.

It looks like we have been affected by the issue described in the release notes.

"Corrected an issue when workflows that were in the middle of executing a state machine or loop at the time of the upgrade from version 3.0.8.0 to 3.1.4.0 stopped and did not restart after the upgrade. Note the affected workflows will not restart after the upgrade to this version. (23712)"

Maybe a very silly question, but how do we restart the workflow?

Do we just delete the current workflow and start again, or is there a way to fix all of the workflows that are 'stuck'

Thanks in advance.

Hello Steve,

as there's no restart-option for worksflows you'll have to abort the running workflow in the workflow details and start it again afterwards.

If you have a lot of instances of the workflow running, you would need to abort and start them again via PowerShell to not have to click through all the instances manually.
