This is probably a terribly newbie question, but how do you change the value of an infopath field? I don't want to update a documents metadata, I want to change the actual value on the form.

If you want to do it from a K2 process you can use the Data Event. The XML structure for the InfoPath form is in the Process / Activity Data section of the Object Browser. Select the field you want to update as the destination and provide either text input or another field (or a combination of fields and text) as the source.

The wizard you are speaking of is in K2.net 2003 and K2 blackpearl 4.5. Is there another way using standard K2 blackpearl designer?

In K2 blackpearl today you have to use a server event and do the update in code. The K2 blackpoint 4.5 RC is currently available if you would prefer to use the data event.
