\Created\" and \"Created By\" incorrect after a \"Copy Item\" action"

I created a workflow to archive list items from an original list to an archive list. I'm using the "Copy item" action. Everything works fine, but in the archived list, the "Created" date/time and "Created by" are different than the original list. It obviously uses the time it was copied as the "Created" date/time and for the "Created By" the person who initiates the workflow. I would like the archived list to reflect the same values as in the original list. Would appreciate any help please.
