Hi community,

We are preparing the Nintex 2010 to 2013 migration.

When using Aarons tool Workflow Migration Preparation Tool to figure out the potential claims migration problems the tool logs a lot of "Workflow Association not found for <workflow name>" errors .

I checked some of those workflows and the problem seems that these workflows have been deleted while there are still items with a workflow history regarding the deleted workflows or even running instances of the workflows.

Could any of you please tell me how to fix this e.g. how to remove all the information of the deleted workflows.

Thanks

Thomas

There is also information still available in your Nintex Database most likely. To remove those, use the NWAdmin features to delete the orphaned data.

Hi again,

I think I found the answer.

NWAdmin.exe -o PurgeWorkflowData -url "site url" -workflowName "workflow name"

Perhaps it helps someone else.

I have an additional question regarding workflow association.

The Workflow Migration Preparation Tool does only locate workflows containing actions with credentials.

How can I locate all other workflows that no longer have a workflow association?

Thanks.

The data can still be removed from the database using the Purge methods, please see if the -deletedLists and -deletedSites options help.

Thank you for your answer.

But the question is how to detect the lists with this "workflow association" problem.

Once detected we can purge the data.

Do you know any method to create a report?
