I have a CRM organization whose server was recently altered to only function with SSL binding (HTTPS).
Originally when I tried to run a Query CRM element in a Nintex workflow, I had to specify the server URL as HTTP. But now that I am limited to HTTPS only, I can't seem to connect with http or https.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a way to resolve it?
Hi Matthew, Thank you for your post. I can see that you are using a workflow constant for the server url, there was a bug where this wouldn't work for this action that has been addressed in the latest release. Please see release notes. https://community.nintex.com/docs/DOC-1153 HTTP and HTTPS shouldn't affect the connection. You may need to either update or specify or hardcode the url. Thanks.
None of the releases since 18.104.22.168 indicate a fix to the Server URL when dealing with NTLM, SSL, or HTTPS for CRM elements on the 2013 Nintex Workflow. The most relevant fix that may or may not pertain to the issue was presented in Build 22.214.171.124:
Hardcoding the url into the Server Url textbox produces the exact same result.
I got confirmation back from our Dev team today [September 15, 2015]. As of now, the CRM
live actions doesnt support connectivity with CRM server running in SSL which
means the CRM actions will not work if the CRM server is configured for
SSL/HTTPS. This is why you were getting the connection error. At this time if
you have not further questions I will go ahead and close this case.
Yes as of now this is a feature that does not exist within our Product. However
this issue is in correlation with the latest version [126.96.36.199] of our Nintex Workflow as
