We are preparing to do a large migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. The site structure will be changing radically. Reading all the documentation it mentions the site structure has to be identical on both servers. Has anyone done something like this? I am assuming I would need to create the new site structure in the SP 2010 environment, move the workflows into the appropriate places using the NWAdmin tool and then perform the migration? Are there any great 3rd part tools to assist with this? I would like to keep all the workflow history and make sure any running workflow continues to run in SP 2013.
