I have noticed that if you open a process from the report webpart in MOSS it opens with the page "Activity Instances" although the view is of the proces (if you open a process from the default report in the workspace it opens with the "Process Instances" page)
The same thing happens if you use the workspace default report and drill down to a subprocess. I.e. click your way through the IPC event to the subprocess and it opens with the page "Activity Instances".
The problem with this is that when you try to display xml process instance data from the "Activity Instances" page, it does not display anything. This is a problem for us as we display the report webpart to the client.
Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a solution to this?
