Error The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information
why I have to give access to all users edit permission to able to run workflow it look like very hard to do it

scenario is while the user add new items to his list which he has edit permission the workflow will start automatically to update another list view some data
quiz is the
2 lists
list one user has edit permission
list tow has read only
workflow update only list 2
why I have to give the initiator user access to list 2 to lit workflow run successfully
