Nintex form will save blank values to SharePoint List

Hi,

We have Nintex form in SharePoint 2016 which contains MultiLine,Choice and Yes/No fields .

If user opens already existing item where data is already filled and on page load for form if script is added for form as disabled as below,

NWF$("#"+multiPlain).attr("disabled","disabled");

Then when you save next time.It saves empty value in the list.

Does disabled doesnt work in Nintex form for SharePoint 2016? Please let me know if we have any alternate option to fix such cases.

Can you be more specific on the disable part of the multi-line textbox (i mean are doing it in all the views) . Why are using script instead of using the option in control settings - appearance - set enabled to 'No'

Thanks for the quick response.
We have edit form where this multi line of text is prefilled and is made disabled through script for some users.But problem is occuring when you reopen editform and change some other fields which is editable and save again.That time the value is becoming empty when saving to list.

After that if you reopen form the value becomes empty for prefilled multilinetext .

What we observed its happening because of below script ,
NWF$("#"+multiPlain).attr("disabled","disabled");

So wanted to know does this have a problem. Suggest any alternative fix for this.

You can use this if(!Is New Mode){NWF$("#"+multiPlain).attr("readonly","true");} to make the control read only on edit mode.
