Symptoms
Received the following error in the hostserver logs upon deployment of a package:
14:07:12","Error","System","2025","InternalMarshalError","SourceCode.Hosting.Server.Services.TCPClientSocket.InternalMarshal","2025 Error Marshalling SourceCode.Deployment.Runtime.DeploymentServer.Send, Not all item conflicts have been resolved. Please retry deploying the package after resolving the conflicts for the following objects: Name: xxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxx_com___edocs___workspace_Management_Group, Namespace: urn:SourceCode/SmartObjects/SmartObject, Message: 'eDocs Initiation Form' Form is referencing the 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_5050___edocs___workspace_Management_Group' SmartObject that could not be found.
Note that all artifacts got the green light in the analyses of the package.
Diagnoses
The error indicates that there is a problem mapping the one smartobject/serviceobject from the package to what exists on the target and given that we checked on the status of that smartobject/serviceobject I am inclined to think (this is speculation) that some change had been made to the data source underlying the service object what had not yet been reflected in the service object. This would explain PandD was not able to map appropriately.
Resolution
Refreshing the service instance for the target site allowed us to deploy the package with success.
