We have 3 K2 processes that a thrid party developed for us. All 3 use infopath form integration to capture data from the user. After the user submits the form, a Listitem is created in a sharepoint list.
Each of these processed have the same problem.
When a user enters a special character into the fields on the infopath form and submits the form data it goes to a SharePoint List Items task, which is supposed to update the sharepoint list item. It is when the workflow gets to one of these updates that when it encounters the Special character from the Infopath form does it error, thus stopping the workflow instance.
And because the item is in error, it disappears from the sharepoint list and the user is unable to fix the problem.
We were told by the third party developer that the 4.5 version of Blackpearl would resolve this issue, so we upgraded our server this morning.
At present the problem still exists and it continues to break our workflow processes.
