Hi!

I try to create a workflow based on a SharePoint 2013 Document Library. Every time when a SharePoint Event (like Item was added, updated or deleted) the workflow should copy the document to another Document Library and send a notification to a user group.

The user notifications are different to any event so user group 1 gets a notification when an item was added and user group 2 gets a notification when an item was updated and so on.

So my question is how to get the information which sharepoint event triggered the workflow so that i can create line rules to send the notifications.

Regards Michael

Hi Michael

There is no real easy way to tell which type of SharePoint event you are using from outside of the event itself. I woul use a data label that you can change to refer to the different possible outcomes. Mostly it depends on how you are deciding on which action to take. Is there a slient event that you are using to decide?

Hello Ian!

Thanks for your reply.

I'm new with K2 and so it is not so easy for me.

I'll use the standard process wizard (just have a look at the screenshot).

I want to use the marked events for my line rules.

Michael
