Issues after Consolidation Upgrade




 

Symptoms


1) I (as an administrator) cannot Release "Open" Worklist Item. The button is disabled under K2Workspace/Worklists
2) Some users lost permission to "Start Processes" and "View Flow"
3) K2 Host Server records the following error to log:

Error 64007 Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Identity_IdentityUpdate'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'Identity.IdentityUpdate'. The duplicate key value is (66, 0x178bba010175fa4120ca711e3101c49c, 4, 1).
The statement has been terminated.
Error 64005 Failed to resolve '66': K2:ITERAAll in Function Itera IT QA.

 

Diagnoses


1) is a known issue and will be fixed
2) This can be due to an inconsistency in the Identity.Identity tables.
3) The same key already existed in the Identity.IdentityUpdate table and if altered it can be repaired.
 

Resolution

Issue 2 and 3 was resolved but issue one is a known issue and there is no fix for it yet.
Running every tool on the identity.identity table such as force refresh and force update tools fixed issue 2
Issue 3 was solved internally by the client.
