Symptoms


License Key Expired and no longer able to update the license key.
 

Diagnoses



When requesting for two Blackpearl License keys, for some reason they have expired within a month.
You get hold of the new licenses apply the first license on Server 1.
Upon server 2 after inputting the license, and going forward to run the set up, when it comes to the DB step it stays stuck stating that their is another set up being ran, even though the set up has been exited on the server 1.
 

Resolution

It seems that there is a an entry in the HostServer.configuration table under the variable token column "[Server Busy]". In the variable value column whatever the entry may be in here, please remove this. Furthermore please do then this restart the service then re-run the set up. This should run through as normal.

This can occur if an existing connection has not been closed correctly from the previous installation on the first server where you have updated the license initially.
