Symptoms
After upgrade from blackpearl 4.6.4 to 4.6.8 and SF 1.0.4 to 1.0.7 K2 Designer and SmartForms do not work with following error:
Error
An error occurred trying to authenticate the user.
Exception Details:
System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: The profile for the user is a temporary profile.
Diagnoses
As indicated in error message K2 service account has to be checked and it should be verified that it does not use temporary profile.
Resolution
Local user profile for K2 Service account which is being used for SmartForms was deleted and re-created - this fixed temporary profile error.
