What is the best way to safely delete a smart object from a SharePoint list in Appit?
The "Delete" button is deactivated when I select a smartobject. I am looking for a way to delete a custom smartobject that will not harm my package when I try to deploy. There are no references to the smartobject.

Hi Monica,
Unlike workflows, it's safe to delete SmartObjects via the Designer page in Appit. Just make sure to unbind it from any SmartForms i.e. Views/Forms prior to deletion.
You can easily tell if/which Views or Form a SmartObject is being leveraged in by expanding the "+" sign next to it as shown here: http://screencast.com/t/nMOTJ6lnQJ
