K2 Blackpearl 4.6.1 setup client tools

Hi,

when setting up K2 blackpearl 4.6.1 in a client only config, i get the following error when trying to connect to the database;

"The SQL server database configuration test failed as user has insifficient privileges: User does not have Security Administration Rights"

When i click 'Test' at the 'HostServer Database' step, i get 'connection succeeded'

I have checked the permissions on the database side and i have db_securityadmin on all the K2xxxx Databases

any help greatly appreciated

Check if the K2Service Account has been given the required permissions in SQL.

Remember that it is the account INSTALLING the client tools that needs DB access.

Alternatively, you can choose the Manual option. See the following documentation for more information:
