I have a need to set a Request Approval (or I can use Assign Flexi Task) if no response is received from the Approver(s) within a certain amount to time to set the request to rejected. The setting to a rejected status once the timer runs out is the issue. Any ideas on this one? We are running SP 2013 and Nintex 2013.

This works great, however, I had to use Reject instead of Rejected.

One more thing to add here. I have set the Approval based on time. What I have noticed is if the Approver declines the request the outcome shows up as Rejected. If it is based on time it shows as Reject.
do you mean to escalation auto-complete task with "Approval based on time"?
what outcomes do you have configured on Action and Escalation tabs?
