Are flexi task reminders using the initial email addresses even if they have been changed?

Hello. I have some flex tasks that have reminders tied to them if the task hasn't been responded timely. Last week, I updated the "From" email and save and published. It appears that reminders for any task that was assigned prior my change is still using the old "from" name. Is there a way for the flexi task to use the new "from" person in the reminders for the tasks prior to my change?

Hi, unfortunately running instances of a workflow aren't updated to a new version and there is no way to change them unless you terminate and restart them, so they will use the new version of the workflow.
