Inline Function fn-remove

Thank you for your time.

I'm having problems with an inline function fn-Remove.

fn-Remove({WorkflowVariable:StrOption}{WorkflowVariable:StrZero}{WorkflowVariable:StrNum1})

The result is -fn-Remove(Enter Choice #1, Enter Choice #2, Enter Choice #3015)-

This function and others also do not work.

This one works as expected:

fn-Length({WorkflowVariable:StrTrim1})

Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: Inline Function fn-remove

Hi,

You need to put comma's between the parameters as per the example given.
fn-Remove(string to modify, position to begin removing text from, number of characters to remove)

fn-Remove({WorkflowVariable:StrOption},{WorkflowVariable:StrZero},{WorkflowVariable:StrNum1})

Re: Inline Function fn-remove

Thank you for your time Simon Muntz-san,

I did try your suggestion, with comma and with ; . With no luck.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Inline Function fn-remove

I would check what is inside the variables before their use. Also the these two variables should be numbers and not strings. WorkflowVariable:StrZero,WorkflowVariable:StrNum1
