Hello Community,

We have built an intranet where users will go to fill out online forms.  We created a hub site collection for us to house all the form list that will be used and created.  On out Intranet site we have pages that we added the List Form Web part to.  When we use the site url and the GUID for the list we get There is no Web named /sites/hub, and when we use the name of the list it recognizes the web but says no just list exist.  Is there something that we are missing, or can you not use the web part to do across site collections?  Any insight on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

You can pull up from subsites within the same collection.

You cannot use the webpart to reach across site collections and pull in list forms (at least without some heavy lifting).

What about pushing the users out to a form page within the specific site collection and serving it up that way? Use your HUB as a sort of directory and lets users quickly jump from one site collection to the other.

Hope this helps!

That is what I was kinda figuring. I just wanted to make sure that was the case before doing a bit of rebuilding.  Thanks Jesse McHargue
