Hello all,

BlackPoint's documentation says it supports SQL Server 2005 SP2 or higher.  So does this mean SQL Server 2008 is supported?  This question is for:

1. SQL Server Database Engine that's used to host K2 databases

2. SQL Server Reporting Services used to run K2 Reports

Thanks much in advance.

Deepak.

Well it looks like BlackPoint uses SSRS in Local Mode.  So it doesn't actually need SSRS running at all.

As far as SQL Server 2008 Database Engine is concerned, I've been using it for about a week in a Development environment now and it seems to be working fine.  But I would still like to know whether it is officially supported in Production or not.

Thanks.

Technically it is not officially supported at this point.  We do know however that this will be an important item and we are working to support it in a release in the near future
