Is there any difference between an XML data field and a data field with XML in it? Other than things like schemas, etc?

Ofcourse there is a difference when you try to create a report. K2 stores the XML data and normal datafield data into two different tables. XML data provides will be easy to handle compare to XML data in data field when you try to create your custom reports.
