Resolution

To add the ServiceObject methods to the custom smartobject in K2 for Visual Studio. For example, HR ServiceObject.
-Open K2 Object Browser and navigate to Environment Tab.
-Expand ServiceObject Server(s) > ServiceObject Server.
-Select HR ServiceObject, expand it, and add the method.
