ah shoot my fault, had the requirement wrong. swap the 1 and 0. I was requiring an attachment for everything but beginner....
If(contains(Class, 'Beginner Agvance Training (2 Day Class)'), 1,0)
Thanks so much for trying-----but still no good news.
swapping the numbers did not work either.
I tried both with a space before the 1 and without the space before the 1
(im not sure if this makes a difference)
Not sure whats going on here but it works on mine with a lookup:
Lets do this....add a calculated value on your form and set it to equal your class field...what does it say when you select beginner...
Im sorry----not sure how to add a calculated value???
it is strange that it works for you----because this is EXACTLY what I need to happen on my form ---and my biggest problem would be SOLVED.
Thanks so much for working with me.
Please tell me how to add a calculated value.
I am also very new to Nintex.. I am trying to make the attachments field mandatory, but only if the Type of Request is Detailed.
I have managed to get it to half work. When I select budgetary, it saves the form - no issues. When I select detailed, it asked for an attachment. But then I attach something it doesn't register that (just sees that Type of Request = "Detailed") and won't allow me to save.
I've searched this forum and tried many things with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
