Forms lookup formula returning number values with extra decimal rounding

Jump to solution

I have a calculated control in my Nintex Form that uses the Lookup function to return a number value from another list. The formula I have used is below:

lookup("LookupEntity","Entity",parseLookup(AuditedEntity,True),"Updated Fee")

The "Updated Fee" column from LookupEntity list is also a calculated column, returning the sum of two columns in the same list, and it is set to return a number value to 2 decimal places.

However, the number returned in the Form via the lookup function varies between 1 and 5 decimal places.

Does anybody know the reason for this? And more importantly, a fix so that the lookup return is consistently to 2 decimal places?

Any help or comments most welcome!

Hi,

Why this is happening i could not tell you but you could try wrap your lookup in a round() runtime function and specify the number of decimal places to work around the issue.

Amazing - that worked a treat.
For completeness, my updated formula is below:

round(lookup("LookupEntity","Entity",parseLookup(AuditedEntity,True),"Updated Fee"),2)

Cheers!
