Skip the New Item, go straight to form entry

I would like to have a link on a web page that goes directly to the form entry page (i.e. I don't want users to have to first go to the List, then click NEW ITEM, I just want them to start in the form at the outset). Is there any way to do this?

I don't want to embed a web part - I'm hoping to use a cute icon that users can click and start inputting information.

Thanks!

navigate to new item form and grab the link from address bar up to "NewForm.aspx" (the rest behind might be ignored).

My new-form-entry links don't appear to have the word "new" in them. They have a lot of https//'s in them. I tried everything up to NFLaunch.aspx, but that didn't do the trick. I'm using responsive forms, not sure if that's the difference.

what platform are you on? O365?

above mentioned works for on-prem.

Yes, sorry, should have mentioned that - we are O365.

I'm not sure how does it work on O365.

if you try whole link, doesn't it work?

If I try the whole link, it will work for me (logged in as me), but if anyone else tries it (logged in as them), they get an error message. I guess because item creation is specific to the user?

here I've found that something similar to on-prem should work on O365 as well

and I've seen several other resources for O365 that refers to newform.aspx, so the page is likely there but does some redirect.

can you try it this way?
