I would like to create a smart object that receives data from a web service. How do i do that??

Have you tried to use the Dynamic Web Service SmartObject Service ? I think this will help you ;-)

correct me if im wrong, i think that service doent support datasets

Yep you are right.
But, the Service Object Project it's provided with the source code, so you can update it with what you need. You can also use this project (http://k2underground.com/k2/ProjectHome.aspx?ProjectID=20), to have a sample of how implementing your own Service Object.
