Hi All!
We have a small workflow that sets permission every day for all items in a list.
It was working fine so far, but now at the morning hours its running into error " An error has occurred in XYZ workflow." Around later morning/noon its running without problem. The list has around 1000 items.
Any suggestion or idea how to fix it, what is the root cause might be?

you are really resetting permissions for 1000+ list items every morning? Why would you do something horrible like this? 😋
However, if this is the complete error message I suggest you have a look at the ULS log files for the time the workflow errored. When exactly is your workflow running? Maybe there are some other ressource consuming tasks running the same time your workflow runs that cause this issue.

Its for the business, they run a report every day and want to have the items untouched in that time...
Is there another way to remove permission automatically for the entire list?
Yes I am checking if there is anything running at the same time.
