Symptoms
We are attempting to install the software on a standalone development server and it is not working.
There are no errors in the analysis report. However, we cannot get to the workspace. It displays "Page not found"
Diagnoses
After our online meeting, we reviewed the installation of K2 workspace and it looked ok. Browsing the Workspace was giving us the Not Found error.
Resolution
Doing a NSLOOKUP for the Workspace hostheader returned an empty search. We added the Hostheader to the local host IP on the Host file, perform an IIS reset and then Browsed the Workspace website and we were able to see it in the Explorer.
We added the DNS Alias records to the DNS server for K2server, K2 SmartForms website and K2 Workspace Website. After doing this we were able to reach the workspace, Smartforms and K2 server from any client.
