As you can see from the images, I have a workflow on a SharePoint list that isn't working as intended. Here's the idea: the workflow pulls the date listed in the Class Date column into a CLASS DATE variable, and pulls the date that the workflow is run into the TODAY variable. In the Calculate Date section, the intended calculation is supposed to take the date from CLASS DATE, and go back one day (hence the -1). For example, if the date in the column Class Date was August 15, it would come up with the date August 14. Make sense? This calculation is stored in another variable called CLASS DATE MINUS ONE.
From there, the Run If statement makes its check - If TODAY equals CLASS DATE MINUS ONE, then that list item is deleted.
Now you know what it's supposed to do. However, the workflow isn't deleting the items when it runs. What am I doing wrong?
Hello danjact, in order to do the first troubleshooting, could you add a 'log to history' just before the 'Run If' and put in both variables and the calculated value?
