I am currently using an InfoPath form with a Nintex workflow to create folders in a separate library on SharePoint. Is it possible to use a Nintex workflow to create a folder outside of SharePoint (e.g. - on a local network drive or a user's hard drive)? Similarly, is it possible to use a Nintex workflow to create a folder in ProjectWise?
In case it is relevant, the software is:
SharePoint 2010
InfoPath 2010
Nintex Workflow 2010
Windows 7 Enterprise
Bentley ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4)
Hi William, Unfortunately we don't have an OOB action that create folders or files on local drive. As Nintex workflow product work within the context of SharePoint. So it will not be able to create folders in ProjectWise product. Thanks,
I think it would be good to have an option to 'create folder structure' in the File-Share/Network-drive. This is because, in few instances workflows are required to automatically create folders and then copy files to these locations dynamically. I'm sure this is possible through Powershell-Addins to Nintex Workflows, however, a default action would make things easier.
