Create a list/library with different title to URL

I am using a nintex list workflow to create a library and set the title to be the ID of the current item. So my new library has a URL something like http://site/subsite/4/. However I don't want the title of the list that the users see to be the ID. I know I can do this manually by creating the list and then in the "List name, description and navigation" settings I can update the name to be what I want but I'm not sure how to do it in the workflow.

Is there a way I can create the list with a separate title and url or is there a web service I can call after I create the list that can change the title?

Any help is appreciated!

Re: Create a list/library with different title to URL

You can call the Sharepoint REST Services

url: http://site url/_api/web/lists(guid'list GUID')

method: POST

body: { '__metadata': { 'type': 'SP.List' }, 'Title': 'New title' }

Headers:

  Authorization: "Bearer " + accessToken

  X-RequestDigest: form digest value

  IF-MATCH": etag or "*"

  X-HTTP-Method: MERGE,

  accept: "application/json;odata=verbose"

  content-type: "application/json;odata=verbose"

  content-length:length of post body

Re: Create a list/library with different title to URL

Thanks Fernando. I am trying to do it this way but keep running into an error. I'm not exactly sure of this method so I am probably doing something really obvious wrong.

I am using a GET request to get the request digest.

Then I have my post request

Capture1.PNG

And when I run my workflow I get this error:

Capture2.PNG

Can you see where I've gone wrong?
