I'm looking for a solution to create a new item from an already existing one (used as template) in the same list copying some of the values.
This workflow should be triggered from the item nintex form with a button and once the new item is created it should automatically open in edit mode .
I suppose the way to go is to use the create item action for the workflow but I'm not sure of feasibility to call a workflow from a button in the form and if the workflow would be able to open a new browser window/tab with the url of the newly created item.

which suggests it's not possible but that was without nintex forms
Sending the link in email to the newly created item is not going to do the job.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
