Do forms and workflows created in 2013 work on 2016

We did a sharepoint content database upgrade to 2016 for both SharePoint and Nintex. We are getting the following error on forms:

Web Part Error: A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Page cannot be displayed or imported. The type Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.WebParts.NFListFormWebpart.NFListFormWebpart, Nintex.Forms.SharePoint, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c52d764dcf7ec883 could not be found or it is not registered as safe. Correlation ID: f810ad9d-ae70-80ca-a4e7-255ceb2da2f0. 

Do we need to recreate all are forms and workflows in 2016 that were developed in 2013?

Hey ryan nicholson‌, I haven't done a content DB upgrade yet, but I have done a few migrations via list template, Sharegate and metalogix and a simple export and import and they have seemed to have worked fine.. By the error message it seems it may be the webpart the form is hosted in.. Is this happening fo all forms ? or just forms that are using the Nintex Forms Webpart ?
