closing open actions

We have occaisional problems where actions are displayed as Open in the service manager (instead of Available) so no one can perform the action and we have to restart the entire process. Is there any way to forcibly change the state of an action to make it available? Thanks.

Yes, this can be done in K2 Service Manager.


1.  Have a K2 Administrator open K2 Service Manager


2.  Expand the node with the server name


3.  Right-click on the Worklist node and Manager Worklist


4.  Search for the desired worklist item within the "Manager Worklist" Dialog


5.  Put a check in the Check Box ont he left column of the desired Worklist Item


6.  Click the "Release" button (2nd button from the left, just above the list)


Once you click the Release button, you should see the status of all the checked tasks become "Available".
