Best way to use "Wait For Update" for letting approvers know that additional information is provided.

Hi,

I have a workflow that provides the option for a manager to request more information from users.  The user goes into the out of box form in SharePoint uploads a file or changes a field then hits save.

Upon that action we need the workflow to automatically send an email notification within another flexi task for the manager to review and approver or deny.

I'm using the "Wait Until" feature with Modified, or Modified by but the workflow is hanging at this section.

I used a DD menu at first for the user to select "yes" that more information was provided, and this worked, but the manager does not want the users to have to make any choices in the form for this action....

Any suggestions?????

I have worked on similar workflow and what I'm using is a loop with condition
