How to genarate a Pie Chart using data from Smart Object

Hi,

I am new to K2. I would like to genarate a simple Pie chart in K2 Designer using a Smart Object that contains the following data -

KEY    VALUE
Jan    20
Feb    10
Mar    7
Apr    3
May    2
Jun    3
Jul    10
Aug    12
Sep    3
Oct    5
Nov    10
Dec    15

Total is 100, so it should create a chart proportionating the month results.

Is it possible to do it only usingn the controls provided by K2 Designer and without using any external object like HiChart, Excel, etc?

 

Please can someone show me the way.

Currently it appears that this function does not exist. There is no control that allows you to create a pie chart. Mpst likely, you would need to utilize the two methods of HiChart or Excel to get this pie chart.


 


The other option is much more in depth and would require you to create a custom control to be used on your forms. Currently some of the reporting controls, such as the workflow instances chart, can show a pie chart. So the functionality of creating a control that displays data from a smartobject would not be too much of a stretch.

This might be a good feature request to pass onto the K2 Team honestly.
