Use Variable for External Email

Hi.  I am new to this site and fairly new to Nintex 2013 workflows.  I have searched many places and have not found anything that will help me so I am hoping one of you Nintex experts will be able to help.

Is there a way to send an email to an "external email" using a field or variable from a SharePoint list?  We have users that can access/contribute our SharePoint sites BUT many of the users do not have a Work Email in our system.  I am hoping that if we had a text field for the user to enter in his/her email address when creating a list item, that we could use that to send an email.

Hi ‌,

Yes, you can use variables indeed with the 'Send notification' action. You must use the 'Lookup' section in the 'Select People or group' (icon right to the field 'To').

Hi Rick,

I am sorry that I have not responded back sooner.  Yesterday when I tried this is did not work, but thought I would give it one more try and low and behold it worked just now.  Thank you!
