Commas in form field list values?

In creating a form field, we need to display drop down list values that include list values with commas. An example of these drop down list values looks like:

  • A and B
  • A, B, and C
  • A, B, and D

Commas separate the display and passed value, but we want the end user to be able to view the display as it will be on the document. If there is not a workaround to this, why is this DDP functionality?

Re: Commas in form field list values?

Hey Moriah Gonzalez‌,

Great question! You can escape the commas by adding a \ so with your example in the Edit Form interface you would do something like.

A\, B\, and C

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Cheers,

Ryan

Re: Commas in form field list values?

Escaping using a \ makes no difference to my choices that contain a comma.

Approach\,Car Park and Front of House, Staff Areas

renders as

Approach\

Car Park and Front House

Staff Areas

instead of

Approach, Car Park and Front of House

Staff Areas

Sorry, to clarify are you using a Forum in Drawloop for Salesforce and are trying to deliver to O365?

Just a standard SharePoint list on O365.

Oh, this is in the Drawloop section (Document Generation for Salesforce). I'm not too familiar with our SharePoint product. I'm on the road today but would be happy to see if anyone has a suggestion for you on the SharePoint side of things when I'm back in the office next week.
