We have DocGen for Salesforce installed in our Sandbox so far, but we have licences purchased for Production too. Since our initial use case we have discovered a number of others.
One of these would theoretically involve a Docgen process to run at the point that a record is created (e.g. Invoices records are created in a custom object in SFDC with the data being fed through from our ERP nightly. We would like to be able to create and store a PDF copy. As the record is created we would somehow like to invoke a process that would allow the document to be created automatically without the need to manually generate it.
Is this possible? If so where / how would I educate myself on how to do this?
Many thanks
Stephen
Hi
You can have a empty pdf template in a place (ex : in Document library ) and reuse the copy of template on each item creation
You can refer this link for upload attachment in document library Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Copy Attachments to Document Library - Vadim Tabakman
Instead of attachment url you can change the pdf template saved Path in web-service action

Hi Stephen,
This would be possible using our Workflow DocGen Packages, which allows you to trigger a document package based on a rule. The following link has our guide on this feature(https://help.nintex.com/en-US/docgen/docservices/#docgen-sfdc/Services/manageDDP/AutomatedDDPs.htm).
