fn-getquerystring function for Office 365?

Jump to solution

Trying to pass a variable to a Nintex form and found the query string variable option, but that doesn't seem to be an option for Office 365.  Wondering what options exist that results in similar functionality.

Thank you,

Jason

‌ has the function fnGetQueryString() been removed from Office 365? I can't seem to find it either.

Thanks

It does appear to be missing, so as long as you're not using the mobile app, a javascript and regex solution like the one here would be required.

Hi James,

This function has not been developed out for the O365 platform at this time. You should be able to follow a similar path to what Vadim Tabakman did in this post by parsing out the data in to a hashtable using custom JavaScript.  The one caveat here is that Nintex Forms for O365 will redirect to a new URL when accessing forms (different from On-Prem), so the query will need to be modified to extract the exact query string from the new URL that is created.  The data will be in the New URL, but the query will have to change.
