Write SPO list item data into PDF (item attachment)

Hello, 

We are currently investigating to which extent Nintex doc gen is capable of replicating functionality that is provided by Muhimbi.... we have a very specific requirement which is:

When a new item is created in a SharePoint Online list (including attachment), we want to add the list item data into the attachment. 

 

With Muhimbi we were able to do this in 2 steps:

1. Create a separate PDF with the list item data

2. Merge this PDF with the list item attachment

 

Is there a similar functionality available with Nintex? 

A nintex solution would be preferrable for us if it is able to do the same...

So this is doable just as you outlined. 


1. write list item data into document


2. grab attachment and merge them


 


In the doc gen action, you can do this, but you may need to use the call web service action to get the URL to the attachment. Typically list attachments are the easiest to work with, but they are there so this is possible.  Whether this is 2 steps or 5 in the workflow it is possible.
